Thanks her for her letter. "Your contribution is unexceptionable. I am sorry to have to inform you that what Sir Sailendra Nath Dutt has reported of me about birth control is wholly imaginary. I am quite at one with you that woman is the greater sufferer in this matter, only the remedy suggested is worse than the disease. You will see an article of mine in the forthcoming issue of Harijan. Already I am perceiving the harm it does in India. I still go out for my walk to the Ashram every alternate day and when you come again we must meet and have the same walk."
