Lascari, Salvatore, 1884-1967

Salvatore Lascari was an artist friend of William Sanger's in Paris. He was an American portrait painter and muralist.

Various letters from William Sanger to MS refer to his friend "Salvatore." He mentions that Lascari is painting a portrait, that he dislikes Paris, and wants to go to Italy. Also, WS and Lascari spend time together at the American Artists Club.

Lists several prizes, art society memberships, and exhibits. Gives no details on his time in France. He was married to fellow artist Hilda Kristina Lascari, who emigrated to the United States in 1916.
